GOULBURN Mulwaree Council will be forced to rely on locums for its Highland Source project following the resignation of another senior member of its water team.
Project engineer Grant Moller handed in his resignation last week to become Queanbeyan City Council's water services manager.
He is the third senior water staffer to resign in the past seven months, following Phil Hansen's departure as engineering director last December and acting water services director Greg Finlayson's resignation in late May.
Mr Moller is also the third senior staffer to join Queanbeyan City Council. Both Mr Hansen and former parks and recreation manager Tim Geyer are employees.
He worked on many water projects during his three and a half years with Goulburn Mulwaree, including the proposed Wingecarribee to Goulburn pipeline (Highland Source).
Acting general manager Chris Berry said Mr Moller wanted to advance his career but stay in local government. He will continue to live in Goulburn.
