BEDE Gordon knew where his loyalties lay.
First and foremost they were with family, but in his heart of hearts there was a big soft spot for Taralga, the area of his birth.
Mr Gordon’s son Michael also summed up his father this week as a country man, who could turn his hand to almost any career. Bede Gordon, a well-known member of the Goulburn and Taralga communities died at the latter’s Sunset Lodge aged care facility last Monday, aged 84.
He was best known in Goulburn as a proud local rugby league supporter, a taxi driver and real estate agent, a war veteran, publican and all round ‘good bloke.’
