POLICE are urging parents to reinforce safety messages with their children after two men allegedly approached an 11-year-old girl near Goulburn South Public School.
Police said at about 8.40am on Monday, the child reported she was walking in Sloane Street when two men put her into the back of a van, which has been described as being white-coloured with two pink stripes on the side.
"The girl alleges she was indecently assaulted and then released," Detective Inspector Ward Hansen said.
The girl then ran 500m to school where she advised authorities.
Police immediately searched the area, stopping a number of vehicles, however, no vehicle matching the description given by the child was found.
