Goulburn girls to perform at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo

09 Nov, 2009 05:32 PM
TWO Mulwaree High School students have beaten hundreds of dancers from across Australia in being selected to perform at next year’s Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

The Tattoo is coming to Australia in February, and over five nights the girls will be showing the entire country their capabilities.

Felicity Warren and Lillian Dorman have been doing Scottish Highland dancing for a number of years and said they were extremely excited when they were selected.

The Tattoo has a proud 60-year history and holds a deep nostalgia for the two young dancers, especially Felicity.

“I used to watch the Tattoo on TV when I was younger,” she said.

“So for me it really is a dream come true.”
