Goulburn Handweavers and Spinners to hold exhibition

26 Feb, 2010 04:21 PM
FINE wool and delicate craftsmanship will be on display when the Goulburn Handweavers and Spinners hold their biennial exhibition next Friday.

The exhibition will be held in the Caroline Chisholm Restaurant of the Goulburn Soldiers Club and will run in conjunction with the Goulburn Heritage and Roses Festival.

The theme is “What Was Old is New Again” and will feature an array of garments, scarves, rugs and a variety of other articles which have been lovingly, and painstakingly, created with great skill and interesting fibres.

Assistant publicity officer Beryl Vine is looking forward to the event and said it is always exciting for the group to have their works on display.
