GOULBURN man, Ken Lockyer, reckoned he was one of the luckiest motorists in town yesterday.
With unleaded prices in one local outlet soaring to a record 162.9 cents per litre and diesel to 181.9 c/l, Mr Lockyer, armed with a Woolworths docket offering a 20 c/l saving, filled jerry cans and "everything he could find", managing to fill up for 129.9 c/l yesterday afternoon.
"I was lucky I had this docket," he said.
"You only get one chance so I thought I would get the best value I could from the saving," he said.
