DESPITE local fundraising efforts in the past the Goulburn and District Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Branch and Support Group is almost broke.
More than 40 local people suffer from MS and the group helps them out by providing emotional, psychological and financial support.
However, in recent times they say all of their fundraising efforts have come up short so they have called on local tradesman, the altruistic Russell Hogan, for help.
Mr Hogan has been involved in a number of fundraisers in the past including Starlight Foundation fundraisers, the makeover for Peter Rowland and most recently the BDCU Goulburn Hospital Dancing with the Starz Spectacular.
Mr Hogan met with the group for the first time on Wednesday morning and says he can’t wait to get to work.
