The drive towards more cycling

15 Oct, 2008 08:16 AM
DUST off your bike and helmet, it's National Ride to Work Day.

This initiative aims to get people cycling instead of driving, reminding them that exercise can easily fit into their daily life, while supporting environmental health.

Goulburn Mulwaree Council road safety officer Claire Bonner was keen to join in Ride to Work Day.

"I am interested in reducing carbon emissions and doing what I can to help our environment, so Ride To Work Day is an encouraging step in the right direction," Ms Bonner said.
