THE front wall of FFP Financial Planning Services (Australia) was severely damaged yesterday morning when a Toyota Camry slammed into it.
Police said two women in their 80s were in the car when the accident happened and both were take to Goulburn Base Hospital.
The car was reversing out of a driveway in Grafton St when something went wrong and the car careered across the median strip, missing several trees. It mounted the footpath opposite, missing the veranda posts on the awning and slamming into the wall of the heritage building.
The impact pushed the wall in, damaged the door way and put a large crack in the building’s sidewall.
Financial adviser and company director Alan Schaechtili was sitting at his desk in the front room when the car smashed into the wall.
He was shaken by the accident but uninjured.
