Members of the GPC, on behalf of Zone 27, accepted the cheque which will help with the upcoming NSWPCA State Dressage Championships to be held in Goulburn. The funds were granted after a successful application to the Goulburn Mulwaree Council Tourism Events Funding program to help with expenses in hosting the championships from August 28-30 at the Goulburn Showgrounds.

This is the first time the zone has hosted a championships, with the 2007 State Showriding Championships stopped by Equine Influenza.

There are 230 riders nominated to attend the event from all over NSW with some camping at the showground and others staying in accommodation in Goulburn.
