CONGRATULATIONS to Amy Davis and Heather Thornton on winning the major/minor championship last Tuesday in a very close game against Helen and Margaret. It was a great game with the lead changing several times throughout the match and just a two shot difference in the final score.

The team consisting of Lorrie Reid, Judy Cooke, Mary Leslie and Dot Wilson were playing in the Queanbeyan Versatility Fours Carnival on Friday and Saturday. There were 34 teams contesting the carnival and the girls from our club acquitted themselves well with five wins and a margin of plus 80 to be the overall winners.

In the social bowls played last week the overall winners, decided on a secret rink, were Angela Charnock, Barbara Todkill, Barbara Peterson who played Michelle Swift, Lorrie Reid and Dot Wilson.
