In ladies A grade Leanne Cox and Betty Berthram were in rock solid form, both playing the baseline rallies very well, defeating Eloise Matthews and Jenny Barker 17 games to seven. Eloise and Jenny both tried hard and many long rallies were seen but they could not break down the Cox-Berthram combination.

Kerrie Hogan and Natasha Ferris played very well in their win over Lauren Wilson and Emily Serrett getting some 15 games to nine.

Natasha served and volleyed well while Kerrie was consistent and caused problems with her low chop shots.
