Corey Fenwick raises money for Challenge Foundation

05 Feb, 2010 01:42 PM
COREY Fenwick is a young athlete with a mission.

His aims are not to go to the Olympics or even to be a member of a State team. Corey just wants to use his passion for athletics to raise money for charity.

This year Corey is raising money for the Challenge Foundation that did so much to help his cousin, Tara-Lee Swan, who suffered from Wolfe-Hirshorne Syndrome and was a student at the Crescent School.

She used to stay at the Challenge Foundation’s Crescent Lodge a few nights a week, giving her parents a little respite from the full time care that Tara-Lee required.

In 2009 Corey raised about $1500 for mental illness support through his running while he was living in Batemans Bay.
