Luke Humphries honoured at Parliament House

05 Mar, 2010 03:08 PM
THE South East Regional Academy of Sport (SERAS) presented three of its highest achieving athletes to NSW Ministers at Parliament House on Wednesday February 24, including Goulburn’s Luke Humphries.

The function at Parliament House was an opportunity for all regional academies in NSW to showcase the achievements of current and former scholarship holders that the academy network produces.

SERAS was represented by Humphries as well as Brittney McGlone from Braidwood and Cassandra Staples from Batemans Bay.

Luke was a scholarship holder in the 2006 Country Energy Program before accepting a scholarship in the 2007 Golf Program. He is now a member of the NSW Men’s State Golf Team and an Australian representative at U19 level.
