Sensei David Lambert back from New Zealand

18 Dec, 2009 10:17 AM
LOCAL Karate expert Sensei David Lambert returned from a whirlwind trip of New Zealand’s North Island on Saturday.

Sensei Lambert spent his time training under one of the world’s most senior instructors and also imparting some of his own wisdom onto New Zealand students.

The main purpose for Sensei Lambert’s trip was to study under International Okinawan Goju-ryu Karate-do Federation (IOGKF) World vice chief instructor, Sensei Tetsuji Nakamura.

“Nakamura Sensei is a three time world champion, a phenomenal Karate exponent and all around great person,” Sensei Lambert said.

“It was his first trip to New Zealand and I am sure it won’t be long until he returns. I hope that we can also bring him to Australia in the very near future.”
