VETERAN Goulburn rifle shooter Ron Gardner was installed as the Goulburn Rifle Clubs champion for 2009 at the presentation dinner last Saturday night.

In an outstanding year of shooting Ron was also C grade champion, handicap championship and the Bill Wass memorial trophy winner. Dave Manning took out the club B grade championship.

In the free class rifle championships Les Hosking was the club champion with 1585x1680 points while in the open rifle, Geoff Miners took out the club champion tag.

Sean McMullen was the clubs junior champion, while Bob Collins won the snipers shield and Dave Manning took out the Austie Muffet memorial trophy.

The presentation dinner also made special mention of three members success at the NSW Championships last month.
