Last weekend our U10 representative team traveled to Batemans Bay for the Eurobodalla 14th annual U10 tournament in which 16 teams took part.

On Saturday they had a first up 1-0 win over ACT team Tuggeranong followed by a 1-0 win over Far South Coast in a rematch of their Branch Championship games. Their last game on Saturday saw them playing Queanbeyan based Monaro.

The STFA side got off to a good start and opened the scoring early on. They lost the lead when Monaro levelled but fought back to win 2-1.

This win put them into the quarterfinals on the Sunday against Shoalhaven Green but unfortunately they went down 2-1. Overall it was a great team effort from the 12 players who attended and they did both the association and themselves proud.
