THE Strikers have the competition back in their hands.
Last weekend's impressive win against Brindabella and a draw between Cooma and Weston Creek means the side is sitting in equal first place with White Eagles.
After trailing Cooma since their loss to the southern side in May, the Goulburn Strikers have had the task of keeping the pressure on the leaders, rather than being the leaders themselves.
And while coach Carlo Aliffi is pleased to be back on top of the table, an inform Weston Creek will face the Strikers tomorrow.
"They only lost 1-0 to White Eagles and then with the draw against Cooma so they are not to be taken lightly," Aliffi said.
The last time the two sides met was also a close encounter with the Strikers eking out a 1-0 victory with a late goal.
Aliffi however believes his side has not always managed to receive full value for their quality this season and said goals are not far away.
