The first prize in the Rotary Club of Goulburn’s Christmas raffle has been taken out by Jacquie Howard.
A large crowd assembled outside K-Mart in Centro Mall on Christmas Eve for the draw, with first prize being a big, blue trailer full of grocery items (valued at about $1600).
Second prize, a Gold Coast holiday for two (including airfares and accommodation), was won by Jesse Harfield, who only entered the raffle minutes before it was drawn.
Third prize – a barbecue – was won by Eliza Hall.
The Rotary Club of Goulburn will distribute the proceeds, totalling about $7000, to local charities and causes.
