A SYDNEY man was killed in a crash on the Hume Highway near Goulburn overnight.

The man from Eastwood was travelling north when at Run-O-Waters Creek bridge, some 2km south of the Goulburn exit, he ran off the road and hit an Armco railing.
His late model grey Toyota careered at 45 degrees some 60 metres down a slope, hit a tree and landed in Run-O-Water Creek near the southbound lane, police said. The vehicle landed on its passenger side though not in deep water.
A passing motorist alerted police to the accident at 6.30am today. Police Rescue, ambulance and NSW Fire and Rescue rushed to the scene however the man was deceased.
The Roads and Maritime Service was also on scene. Detectives and accident investigation attended soon after.
Tyre marks could be seen in the thick grass along with car parts. Police could not say this morning what time the accident occurred.
