Continuous short workshops will be presented so you can get the dirt on growing your own. Includes fun activities for kids as part of recycling week and raffle prizes. Members will be available to answer your gardening questions and to take you on a tour of the Riversdale Permaculture Garden.
Workshop Program
Time: 10am to 12.30pm
10am: Growing Tomatoes
10.30am: How to grow potatoes in a sack (take your own home)
11am: Small animals in the garden
11.30am: Spade to spoon- cooking with seasonal vegetables
Children's activities
12noon: Composting with Ray
• Scarecrow making
• Herb heads
• Daffodils
• Worm hotels
A scarecrow will be raffled off at the end of the day!
