A group of 12 cyclists will follow Mr Blair to Bondi, albeit on a different route.
Rider Rod McCormack said the group aimed to meet the runners in each town they visited.
"A guy who works with Tim came up with the idea of getting some cyclists to tag along for the journey to Bondi," Mr McCormack said.
"The group features riders of all abilities, from very good riders right down to me."
The route the cyclists will take differs from the one Mr Blair and his crew will take.
"Scott Russell has organised the route the cyclists will take so any complaints we do get can be directed at him," Mr McCormack said.
"We have taken into account safety so we have decided to stay off the busy roads and freeways."
The cyclists will look to have their leg done by lunch time each day before heading back out on the road to support Mr Blair and Mr Taylor.
The group has also been decked out in the latest cycling gear and apparel after Darryn Derrico joined with Giant bicycles to supply the team with all the equipment.
"Darryn has been able to lend us all Giant bicycles worth about $5000 each for the ride and Derrico riding outfits," Mr McCormack said.
