The Swans kicked 36 goals and 16 behinds in the shellacking, with the Hawk’s only point coming from a set shot deep in the last quarter.
Forwards Simon Treloar and Heath Russell kicked five goals each while club fullback David Nell managed to slot his first ever major for the Swans in the goal fest.
Coach Steve Armstrong pointed out the confidence boosting win was more a case of coming up against a weakened side rather than an outstanding performance.
However he was quick to praise the team’s possession and sharing of the ball in the victory along with the focus on getting basic skills right.
Ramez Dagher was one Armstrong pointed out as someone who looked to share the ball well with his team mates.
The first year Swan also booted three goals in his debut game.
The Swans now have a week off due to Easter holidays, with their next game against the Harman Hogs in Canberra on April 26.
