About 30 students from each local high school (Trinity Catholic College, Mulwaree and Goulburn High) will attend the morning session and from 12pm the doors will be open to the public for a Q&A and discussion.
This is all about giving young people a voice, enabling them to put forward their ideas and encouraging them to think of how we can make Goulburn a better place.
Results from the day will act as the backing research for a youth-focused community report.
“The resource will be a great asset to the community and will be available to service providers and businesses in delivering services for young people in Goulburn,” Be Seen Be Heard Youth Engagement Officer Alysha House said.
“It’s important to understand that you need to consult with young people, their voice is important.
“If the youth are on board with a project the outcomes and successes will be amazing.”
A musical trio, made up of Bailey Judd, Nick Sinclair and John Vassallo will perform during the lunch break at 12pm.
Mission Australia will man the BBQ.
