The Queanbeyan Whites campaign for their first John I Dent Cup premiership in six years is running smoothly, doing away with the Uni Norths 45-24 in their last regular match of the year.

Jerrabomberra's Phil Hopkins has returned to Australian shores, following a successful season in the south west of France. Hopkins attributed his team's success to a deep and ingrained French love of the Australian approach to rugby.

The ACT Schoolboys squad have historically placed around the middle of the table at the National Schoolboys Championship, but this year, coach Dan Hawke believes the team can lift, breaking into the upper echelon of the competition.
