Yesterday afternoon Oallen Ford Rd remained closed due to flooding at Nadgigomar Creek, on the unsealed section well before the bridge.
The bridge itself was well under water, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
The river height at 12 noon Tuesday was two metres above the road level, the Oallen Ford Crossing Facebook paghe stated yesterday.
“Warri is still high with that water still to come down to Oallen so it will be a day or two before there is any real fall in water levels,” it stated.
Elsewhere in Goulburn Mulwaree, Bullspit Road near Brayton Rd was closed as was Mills Rd, near Towrang.
On Monday night the SES feared that Towrang, Big Hill, Greenwich Park and Brayton could be isolated for 24 hours due to rising water at lowlevel bridges.
SES regional learning and development officer Matt Chifley said the water was one-metre below the bridge and still rising at 8pm Monday. But the warning was lifted as rainfall tapered off.
Council general manager Warwick Bennett said yesterday there has been no significant damage to roads or bridges in the LGA as a result of the recent rain.
Staff had been out inspecting infrastructure.
