Police have arrested a man following an alleged armed robbery at a Goulburn service station.

Just after 10pm (Monday 18 August 2014), a man allegedly walked into a service station on Goldsmith Street armed with a knife, threatening the 26-year-old attendant.
He fled with cash and police were alerted.
Following investigations, officers from The Hume Local Area Command attended a home in Hume Street and arrested a 30-year-old man. He was taken to Goulburn Police Station and charged with robbery whilst armed.
The man was refused bail and is due to appear in Goulburn Local Court today.
