It was a journey of comradery as everyone involved supported each other to cover the distance of 100km.
Cyclists like Gordon Allan provided participants with plenty of inspiration.
Gordon trains with the Western Sydney Academy of Sport and has right-sided hemiplegic mild cerebral palsy. He is the perfect example of how the ride is about participation no matter what the cyclist’s ability.
The ride took place on Sunday, October 12 from Goulburn to Bowral. Riders lined up alongside cyclists such as, Angus Taylor, Nick Smith, Toby Orchard and local Goulburn boy Zac St Vincent.
The Interchange Australia ASDESI ride is all about participation and everybody having a go, being challenged and raising money for kids with autism,
This year there were approximately 60 riders and some amazing volunteers.
The ride raised around $25000 to support kids with Autism and their families
Interchange Australia partnered again with the Kollege of Knowledge Kommittee for Kids (KKKK) to raise money for its ASDESI program which supports children in the with autism and their families.
