Bay Ten Espresso has opened in one of the warehouse-sized spaces under the northside approaches to the Harbour Bridge, at Lavender Bay.
With 1200 cyclists passing each day, Bay Ten focuses on the bike community, the physio sorting out aches and pains as well offering an ergonomic analysis of a riders' positioning on their bike.
If you'd like a coffee with that, Bay Ten owner Nathan Devlin has put in the miles on an espresso machine as a former barista at Ham, in Cronulla.
"They used to work on the Highway Patrol cars down here in the 1980s," he says of the old warehouse space.
"You can hear the trains rumbling overhead," he says. Devlin is using his own blend at Bay Ten.
"It's a combination of 50 per cent Indonesian, 30 per cent Columbian and 20 per cent Ethiopian."
