Ms Goward said she wants to bring to the attention of the house the unreliable train services on the Southern Highlands line between Goulburn and Central stations.
“I am seeking support from petitioners asking the Legislative Assembly to make a commitment to improve train services on the Southern Highlands line by purchasing new and more reliable rolling stock,” Ms Goward said.
“I am also requesting signatures of support for the comprehensive redevelopment of the Goulburn Base Hospital.
“I understand these two areas are in need of improvement and I am seeking funded election commitments from my parliamentary colleagues,” Ms Goward said.
Both petitions are available for signing at Ms Goward’s new electorate office 167-169 Auburn Street, Goulburn.
“Parliament is due to rise for 2014 in late November so I urge anyone wanting to sign these petitions to do so as soon as possible,” Ms Goward said.
