At about 9.30am on Wednesday 22/10/2014 a ‘Road Rage’ incident occurred in Princess Street, Mittagong where a 63 year old Bowral man was allegedly assaulted and had his vehicle damaged by a 47 year old Camden male. Police are investigating the incident and ask if any persons saw an incident involving a white VW Amarok utility and a white Toyota Yaris to contact Bowral Police.

At about 10pm on Saturday 25/10/2014 a 22 year old Marulan male was drinking at the Bowral Hotel when he was asked to leave due to his intoxication level. After remaining in the vicinity of the hotel the male was asked to leave the immediate area. The male then started shaking an adjoining fence causing it to fall over causing further damage to a brick retaining wall. He was detained by security staff until police arrived. It was very apparent that the male was seriously affected by alcohol therefore he was arrested and taken to Bowral Police station where he was charged with Malicious Damage and Fail to Quit licensed premises.

At about 12.30am on Sunday 26th October 2014 a 22 year old Bowral male was walking through Loseby Park, Park Road, Bowral when he was assaulted by up to 4 persons. The male received several facial fractures as well as bruising to his eye and right leg.
Police are asking if anyone noticed any persons acting suspiciously in the Loseby Park area late on Saturday night or early Sunday morning to contact Bowral Police.

A Break/Enter & Steal occurred at a property on Golspie Road, Golspie between 16/10/2014 and 27/10/2014 where several items of property were stolen. There have been several stealing/Break and Enter offences in the Golspie/Peelwood area over the past month. Residents of the Golspie/Peelwood areas are asked to be watchful and report any suspicious activity to Crookwell or Goulburn police.

At about 11.45pm on Tuesday 21/10/2014 a 32 year old Goulburn male has been consuming alcohol at the Astor Hotel, Goulburn. He has then driven his Holden Commodore to Coronmandel Street where in attempting to make a right hand turn into Mayor Street has lost control and collided with a parked vehicle causing the front bumper bar to detached from his vehicle. The male has then continued driving and when attempting to make a right hand turn into Addison Street has again lost control and collided with an Armco guard rail causing substantial damage to the vehicle.
The male was located by attending police and having provided a positive breath test was taken to Goulburn Police station where he later returned a reading of .104. The male had his NSW drivers licence suspended and was charged with Mid Range PCA.

At about 7.20am on Thursday 23/10/2014 police stopped a vehicle travelling north on the Hume Highway, Goulburn. The 35 year old male driver from Leeton was breath tested with returned a negative result. He was then submitted to a roadside drug test which proved positive to Methlyamphetamine and Cannabis. Police suspicions regarding the male and the vehicle resulted in the vehicle being searched with almost $13,000 being seized in addition to a small plastic resealable bag containing a crystallised substance. The male was arrested and taken to Goulburn Police station where a further drug test was conducted, the results of which will be tested. The cash was seized and police will be making further enquiries.

At 12.40am on Sunday 26/10/2014 a 17 year old Gunning male was stopped whilst driving along Bourke Street, Goulburn for the purpose of a Random Breath Test. The test proved positive with the male taken to Goulburn Police station where he later returned a reading of .025. As a Red Provisional P2 licence holder he is restricted to a zero alcohol limit. He was released and will be summonsed to court for the offence of Special Range PCA.
At 3.40am on Sunday 26/10/2014 a 30 year old Goulburn male was stopped whilst driving along Bourke Street, Goulburn for the purpose of a Random Breath Test. The test proved positive with the male taken to Goulburn Police station where he later returned a reading of .117. He was subsequently charged with Mid Range PCA and had his Red Provisional P2 drivers licence suspended.

Police from The Hume Local Area Command conducted a drug detection operation in conjuction with the “Dragon Dreaming” festival at Wee Jasper over the past weekend. Approximately 20 drug detections were made with various legal actions to follow.
