As they've done for more than a decade, Goulburnians will gather tomorrow for the Relay for Life. There are fundraising events on every day of the year, but the Relay for Life remains a unique event.

It's a time for contemplation, remembrance and reflection, but also a time for fun, defiance and optimism.
It's a time for fund-raising, but not in the usual distant, clinical and purely financial sense. Participants are required to personally and physically commit, earning the funds they raise off the sweat of their brows and the blisters on their feet.
And in the midst of that, a remarkable community event takes place in which friends and strangers share a task as they share their time, their efforts and their experiences.
This Live Blog will collect posts from Instagram and Twitter where people have used the hashtag #GoulburnRelay. If you are getting ready for the event, actually participating in it or recovering afterwards, we ask you to share your photos, videos and thoughts with that hashtag so that others might see what it's about and perhaps join in or donate.
Happy walking and good luck.
