The 30-year-old was travelling south on Braidwood Rd, some 3km past Painters Lane, when his white ute was involved in a collision at 5.40pm.
The driver claimed another white ute had clipped the vehicle and had not stopped.
The man’s ute rolled and he was trapped by confinement, rather than injuries. Police Rescue officers freed him after 45 minutes and he was taken to Goulburn Base Hospital by ambulance with minor injuries. Inspector Evan Quarmby said he was lucky to escape more serious injury. Officers will be taking a statement when he is freed from hospital.
Police are keen to speak with the driver of a white ute with a grey or green canopy.
The Rural Fire Service and Roads and Maritime Service officers also attended the scene. Traffic was restricted to one lane for a time.
