Results were officially released by the Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Studies (BOSTES) at 6am on Wednesday.
The family of Trinity Catholic College student Emerson Kidd will be especially rejoicing after she came first in the state for Food Technology.
“Emerson is currently overseas in Amsterdam at the moment, so we haven’t been able to find out what her ATAR was,” Trinity principal Mary-Jane Carroll- Fajarda said.
Fellow students Olivia Stutchbury (with an ATAR of 91.3), and Cassandra Russell (90.65) also did well.
“I’m genuinely impressed with all of our students, who have remained focused and have done very well,” Mrs Carroll-Fajarda said.
“They are certainly good leaders for our school.”
Twenty seven Trinity students received marks in the Band 6 spectrum, with three doing their HSC via Distance Education. 131 students also received a Band 5, with the school above the state average for Ancient History, Business Studies, Community and Family Studies, Food Technology, Information and Process Technology (IPT), Senior Science and VET Primary Industries.
