Peter Nicholas Lennox, 74, of Cootamundra did not enter a plea when he appeared before Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday.
The former Brother is charged with nine counts of indecent assault of a male and one count of act of indecency. The offences are alleged to have occurred against boys at a Manly school and St Patrick’s College, Goulburn between 1973 and 1976.
He was arrested on November 10 following a police search of his home.
Lennox was granted conditional bail by Cootamundra Local Court on Monday, December 1 and had that continued this week.
Magistrate K Robinson adjourned the matter to Downing Centre Local Court on Thursday, February 5.
He is the third Christian brother charged with indecent assault of boys, the others being Bro William Peter Standen and an as yet unnamed 69-year-old Balmain man. He will appear in Goulburn Local Court on Monday.
