A WOMAN who police claim has links to the Rebels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang will remain in custody until at least February 11 following a search warrant that seized a crystallised substance believed to be ice.

Janelle Louise McLean was arrested and charged with a string of drug-related offences in the wake of a police raid on a Lagoon Street motel on Wednesday afternoon.
Hume Local Area Command detectives allegedly seized more than three grams of a substance they believe is methylamphetamine, better known as ice, along with drug paraphernalia, documentation and suspected stolen property.
The 29-year-old Crookwell woman was charged with dealing with the proceeds of crime, supplying, possessing and self-administrating illegal drugs, and breaching bail offences.
She was refused bail by police and only hours later appeared before Magistrate Carolyn Huntsman in Goulburn Local Court.
After 30 minutes’ deliberation with her acting solicitor, Tim McGrath, McLean opted against applying for release.
“Bail is not applied for at this time, your honour,” McGrath told a near-empty courtroom at just shy of 5.30pm.
McLean, wearing pink pyjama trousers and ugg boots, was escorted to the cells beneath Goulburn Local Court. She’ll remain in detention until her next court appearance, on February 11.
The warrant was conducted as part of an ongoing investigation into the supply of methylamphetamine in Goulburn by special taskforce Strike Force Coull.
In addition to the arrest of McLean, police apprehended a second individual.
Police allege that during the raid, a 29-year-old Goulburn man arrived in possession of suspected stolen goods with the intention of exchanging them for drugs.
The man was subsequently charged with four counts of shoplifting and one of dealing with the proceeds of crime.
He appeared at Goulburn Local Court yesterday afternoon.
The pair’s arrest follows a successful October raid by Strike Force Coull that netted 19 accused suppliers or users of methylamphetamine in a single morning.
Many of those have since been sentenced to prison or stung with convictions.
The Hume Local Area Command’s Crime Manager, Detective Inspector Chad Gillies, said police will continue targeting illicit drug supply and use in the Southern Tablelands.
“Our police are committed to the ongoing battle against the supply and use of prohibited drugs in our communities,” Detective Inspector Gillies said.
“Today’s arrest demonstrates our commitment in that regard.”
