Co-ordinated raids by police in Adelaide and New South Wales on Wednesday led to the arrest of 12 members of the Nomad Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG) in connection with serious criminal offences.
The culmination of this investigation by the Serious and Organised Crime Branch’s Crime Gangs Task Force saw raids at a number of properties on Wednesday May 27, and 12 men arrested on a range of charges including solicit to murder, kidnapping, blackmail and assault.
Of the dozen arrests, three occurred in South Australia and nine in NSW. A number of those arrested interstate are Adelaide residents. Police will be requesting the extradition to South Australia of all those arrested interstate.
