The big preparations are underway... there will be regular targets along with some novelty events, giveaways, raffles and lucky door prizes.
The day begins at 9.00am sharp, with the first squad of 6 shooters heading out onto the range at 9.30am.
All those wanting to try out Clay Shooting are more than welcome, as are the experienced shooters too.
“It’s an interesting day out” Club Publicity Officer, Angie Thorpe said.
“The shooters are always talking amongst themselves, discussing best methods on how to smash the targets, and walking from stand to stand gives the shooters time to assess what they just experienced at the last stand, and how to be a better shot at the next one”.
All shoots at the Middle Arm Road venue are family orientated, please feel free to bring friends and family along too... they are welcome to walk around the course alongside shooters, The Club can provide hearing protection for guests and although eye protection is not essential, they highly recommend to bring a pair of sunglasses... a hot day is predicted.
Lunch is included in the $50 nomination fee.
Family members and friends can join shooters at the buffet for just $10 per person, and this include a free can of soft drink.
Sponsored gift bags will be available for the first 100 shooters, and fundraising will be happening throughout the entire day.
The Club is aiming to purchase and install a brand new amenities block at the range, and has set a goal to have this in place by the end of 2016.
