The group acknowledged this on Tuesday by presenting cafe staff with a certificate of appreciation.
“The Paragon Cafe has been very supportive of our fundraising activities over the years by providing vouchers for us as well as being a venue where we like to meet for coffee and for charity functions,” Goulburn Teapot Club president Mel Ashton said.
The Goulburn Teapot Club does a good job raising money for local children with autism from various activities including an annual conference, annual garden party, white elephant stalls and events such as a Curry and Casserole Night.
They also receive donations from Goulburn Mulwaree Council, the Veolia Mulwaree Trust, Argyle Rotary Club and others.
So far they have donated more than 15 tablet computers to local schools that have students suffering from autism enrolled.
