He's appeared at the National Young Writers' Festival, Sydney Fringe and Brisbane's Anywhere Festival.
Now, he wants to do a free show in your lounge room. That's right, in your lounge room.
He assures this isn't some elaborate burglary attempt. Rather, it's an out-of-the-box tour proposal - a way to test new material, meet new people and give a few laughs along the way.
Andrews said the tour is the first of its kind.
"I don't know if (the tour idea) is too unusual and I don't know how it is going to turn out. Hopefully someone is keen to try it," he said.
"Stand up comedy isn't meant to be about venue fees and risk assessments, but when you're just starting out at comedy festivals, unfortunately it is.
"At the beginning of your career it can be hard to find people who will support you. To stand out you have to be really different, and that's why I want to perform in some strangers' lounge room."
Travelling from Newcastle to a writers festival in Canberra from March 16 to 20, Andrews is hoping to book a few stand-up gigs in the Goulburn region around those dates.
He isn't picky with his venues - whether a two-seater lounge, a few milk crates in your garage or a patch of grass in your backyard - all he asks is you round up ten mates to join the party.
"I'm assuming there's not much live comedy in Goulburn and I feel like there would be people in Goulburn who like stand up comedy," Andrews said.
"This will be a really unique chance to see someone at the start of their comedy career doing a show that no one has seen before. I just think it would be a really cool, night in (but) it might be a bit uncomfortable if it's just me and one other person."
Whether he is offered a venue or not, he will continue to work on material just in case. The show he is working on is one based on growing up in regional NSW.
"My focus at the moment is pretty much getting material together because I would say 70 per cent of the stuff I'll do I haven't done before or more than once. It's a lot of new material.
"I try to write things based on actual events from my life. The show I'm working on at the moment, that I would do on this tour, is a show about childhood and growing up and a couple of relationships that were like markers of different parts of my youth.
"I feel like a regional audience would respond well to the show, especially to a comedian they haven't heard of before.
"This isn't about making money. I just want to get better at performing and try my jokes on new audiences."
