As a coach, it can inspire a sports team or even raise awareness of social issues. The ability of public speaking can be an asset in all facets of life.
Goulburn Rostrum Club 7 can provide the knowledge, skills and ability to help people achieve these goals, whether professional or personal.
As of 2016, the club meets fortnightly. Members listen to different speakers, either on particular topics or something topical and personal.
All members of all ages are encouraged to participate and enhance their speaking and debating skills in a friendly and supportive environment.
Participation is informative and enjoyable in a non-pressured environment that can greatly improve confidence and ability to speak in front of people.
