Mr Croker, of SC Design Solutions, won in two categories: Outstanding Value for Money and Solar Passive/Sustainable Design.
Born and brought up in Goulburn, he opened his Bourke St business in 2004 after six years with Bunning and Madden Architects in Canberra.
The project that earned him the award for Outstanding Value for Money was the 'Greenhouse of Little Bridgy' in Middle Arm.
He converted the old, disused greenhouse into a small, self-contained guest retreat with a kitchenette, sitting area and bedroom.
The award judges congratulated his design ideas, calling the conversion "clever".
"The flexible open plan allows the spaces to be used alternately," the judges said.
"Obtaining reclaimed flooring and locally sourcing timber for the windows, doors and decking made the project cost-effective as well as aesthetically pleasing and sympathetic to the residence's surroundings. The retreat is private and provides guests with expansive views."
The second award, for Solar Passive/Sustainable Design, was for Gunyi Retreat in the Yass Valley on the outskirts of Gundaroo.
The retreat was built using grey iron bark cladding and walls clad in rock, and functions off-grid as a solar passive design with up to 100,000L of on-site water storage.
"Initially unlocking a site's intangible qualities and opportunities is paramount before we start the design process, then the integration of a design that exploits these qualities through appropriate use of our solar passive design principles," Mr Croker said.
He was "thrilled" to receive the awards and said ecological sustainable development was receiving praise throughout the district.
"It's fantastic to be acknowledged by the BDA for some of the existing projects we have been a part of recently," he said.
"There is a lot of positive discussion and action regarding ecological sustainable development in the Goulburn region.
"I'm thrilled to be recognised, given the passion I have for this area of expertise.
"BDA is a fantastic organisation supporting high level innovative building design around the country."
The Building Designers Australia (ACT Chapter) Design Awards were held on April 6 at the Southern Innovations showroom in Fyshwick.
Mr Croker has won many other awards over the past 12 years, including the sought-after Environmentally Sustainable Buildings Award in 2011 for the Stoney Creek Wing Extension.
