The winners were father and son combination of David and Sam Plumb.
They defeated Luke Rudd and Kurt McAlister 6-3 6-3, in a match that produced some great tennis with many long rallies played before a point was won.
Luke and Kurt started off well and had a lead of 2-0 but that ended when David and Sam struck form.
David was Mr Consistency all the match, putting away some overhead smashes at the right time.
Sam was hitting his forehand well and played every ball back in play, also serving some bullets down.
For the runner up team Luke covered the court well and played a very controlled game.
Kurt hit some really hard forehand drives and gave Luke great support.
Well done to them on reaching the final.
After play morning tea was enjoyed by all and winners and runners up were presented with winners prizes.
A new Saturday morning competition will commence on May 14, if you would like to play ring Kath on 4821 3402 for enquiries.
