Organisers of the annual Apple Day said it was the best turn-out to date.
Windy weather didn't deter crowds from the fruity fun and foods.
The sun shone on arts, craft, music and competitions for all ages.
Shearing, wood chop, vintage cars and music rounded out the day.
A few thousand came in the gates, ensuring the event returns in 2017.
