Police are appealing for public assistance after a woman was indecently assaulted in Goulburn on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident happened about 5.25pm Wednesday May 4, when the 21-year-old woman was jogging beside the Wollondilly River near Middlearm Road, Goulburn.
Police have been told the woman was approached by a man who touched her inappropriately and pulled her t-shirt.
The woman kicked the man in the groin and she ran away; and police from the Hume Local Area Command were alerted minutes later and an investigation began.
The area has been searched by police and a number of items have been taken for forensic examination.
Police have been given a description of a man they believe can assist with this investigation.
The man is described as having a scruffy appearance, of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, unshaven with messy hair, and at the time he was wearing a grey t-shirt with holes in it. The man was described as having a deep voice and a strong body odour.
