Some 100 people from Goulburn and around the state will gather for the annual Historical Radio Society of Australia annual meeting tomorrow.
The George Simes Scout Hall on the corner of Addison and Bourke streets will host the day, which starts at 10.30am.
Member Richard Cudaj said the community was most welcome to attend and peruse the wide variety of old valve radios on display.
"We get all shapes and sizes ranging from the 1920s to the 1960s," he said.
Mr Cudaj himself has been collecting since he was 16 years old. He is one of 12 radio club members in Goulburn.
An auction begins at 12.45pm for rusted-on collectors and casual fans.
"If anyone has a valve radio and wants to sell it at our auction, they are quite welcome to come and see us in the morning and we will organise something," Mr Cudaj said.
A stallholder will also be selling reproduction radio knobs and dial faces.
The Goulburn Scout Group will cater for the hungry hordes with a tasty barbecue for a small fee, which goes to their organisation.
Members pay $5 admission, but the public has free entry. The day runs until 3.30pm.
"The day attracts a lot of interest," Mr Cudaj said.
