It shapes up to be a very different election for Hume.
Previously an overwhelmingly rural seat, the recent redistribution means that Hume now takes in a significant portion of the outer and neighboring suburbs and towns of south west Sydney.
Previous results will be harder to interpret, and that’s before you begin to factor in the various policies and popularities of the parties competing for our votes.
At this very early stage of the election, we want to know the initial voting intentions of Goulburn Post readers.
From the outset we want to declare that this is NOT a scientific survey, that people from outside the area can add their votes to the poll, and that individuals may find ways of voting numerous times.
