The great-great niece of the WWI combatant had long heard stories of the man killed in action in 1916.
But in stepping up her research with Ancestry.com.au, the Goulburn woman helped bring Pte Weakley 'home'.
The genealogical website put her in touch with extended family and information to identify his whereabouts.
In 2014, Ms Summers was present at the "very emotional" service to lay a wreath on Percy's official grave.
Tuesday, July 19, marks the centenary of Percy's death, and that of many more young Anzacs like him.
Ms Summers will attend a special Last Post at the Australian War Memorial in her great-great uncle's honour.
Ancestry.com.au is also offering 100 hours of free access to its Australian and New Zealand war records.
Access includes enlistment, service and medical records, and more, to help descendants find those who served.
