Local charity Angels for the Forgotten are holding their Winter Wonderland Gala Ball on Friday August 26 from 6.30pm at the Goulburn Soldiers Club
A three-course meal and entertainment provided by ‘AK’ as well as Dj Marky McCool will be on offer. There will also be raffles and other fun competitions held on the night.
Angels for the Forgotten founder Melina Skidmore said it is the major fundraiser to help them build a community kitchen.
“It will also be the first time we release our plans of the community kitchen and community centre that we are building at the site where their current Railway Cafe operation is,” Ms Skidmore said.
“So it is a great opportunity to come and have a look at what we are doing in the community as to see our plans for the future.”
Angels for the Forgotten run the Foodbank in Auburn St and the Railway Cafe in Sloane St, Goulburn.
They also run life skills courses from the cafe.
Tickets cost $55 and are available from Ms Skidmore or from the club. Dress is formal black tie.
