The popular duo won the judges over with their renditions of Beatles and Eagles songs. They have great harmonies and musical ability.
“The Bensley boys entertained the excited crowd with some fantastic songs and displayed their winning skills and charisma,” Goulburn Regional Conservatorium director Paul Scot-Williams said.
Elder brother Thomas, 17 said the pair have been playing as a duo for 10 years. They also play in the bands Short Notice and Leaving Reality.
“We won Buskout on our song choice,” Thomas said.
“We play rock n roll and blues songs that have good spots to show off our harmonies.”
The pair may have big things in their sights, but they are also still students at Mulwaree High School. They praised the school’s music program for helping nurture their talent.
The boys have won recording time at the Rock Con.
